NFL Team Rankings For the 2020 Season

Nfl Team Rankings

The NFL season is almost here! Here are a couple of teams to keep an eye on as the season progresses.

2020 NFL Team Rankings – Kansas City Chiefs (12-4): After missing the playoffs in back-to-back seasons, the Chiefs will be looking to bounce back in a big way this season. If the team does indeed make the jump to the elite, they will be a major challenge to beat. They have the best young quarterback in the league in Patrick Mahomes.

New Orleans Saints (Wildcard Playoff Game): The Saints lost in the wildcard round last season, so they will be looking to redeem themselves this year. Their new head coach and quarterback will provide plenty of inspiration for their team to win. They will be able to play on one leg because of rookie running back Joe Mays.

Arizona Cardinals (Wildcard Playoff Game)

This is the first time since 2020 that the Cardinals have made the playoffs. Quarterback Carson Palmer has come a long way since his days in Denver. He is now one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL. He should be able to continue that success against the Saints this season.

New Orleans Saints (New Orleans Bowl): One of the biggest surprises of the NFL this season will be the Saints’ performance in the new team rankings. Coach Sean Payton and quarterback Drew Brees will lead them to another huge victory in the New Orleans Bowl. Even though this is the first year without superstar wide receiver Marques Colston, the Saints should still have a good offense to beat teams like the Eagles or Broncos.

Denver Broncos (Divisional Playoff Game): The Broncos look like they are going to roll over the Bengals in the Divisional Playoff Game. They will be playing in the Super Bowl for the first time since 1993. If they can take care of business against the Dolphins in the wildcard round, the sky’s the limit for Denver.

Detroit Lions (Divisional Playoff Game)

The Lions are a trendy pick to win the wildcard playoff game. If the Lions play like they did in the first half against the Steelers, they could put their name in the history books by taking down the Steelers in a big way.

Atlanta Falcons (Divisional Playoff Game): The Falcons have one of the toughest schedules in the entire NFL this season, but they can be contenders to take home the divisional title with a win over the Steelers in Week 17. They will have to beat the Packers to get to 12 wins and move to the Super Bowl. They will need help from their running game in order to make this happen.

New York Giants (Divisional Playoff Game)

Quarterback Eli Manning is playing a huge role in helping the Giants reach their first Super Bowl in franchise history. He will need to play better in this crucial Super Bowl to help the team earn its second straight trip to the Super Bowl. After the divisional playoff series, the Giants will face the Rams in a must-win game.

Houston Texans (Divisional Playoff Game): The Texans look like a Super Bowl contender after a strong divisional regular season. Quarterback Tom Savage is playing at a high level and quarterback Matt Schaub looks like the quarterback that leads the Texans to a big win in the Divisional Playoffs. The two of them are looking to help the Texans get to the SuperBowl for the first time since 2020.

Green Bay Packers (Wildcard Playoff Game): The Packers have to deal with the Eagles, a team that made it to the Super Bowl last year. Philadelphia just might be more talented than the Packers this year. The Eagles will also be able to get quarterback Carson Wentz more touches than he gets.

Final Verdict

New England Patriots (Super Bowl): The Patriots are looking to take home their third straight Super Bowl title and will have to do it at the expense of the Giants. The Giants’ young stars are one of the main reasons why the Patriots should be able to beat New England this time around. Expect a dominant performance from Bill Belichick’s defense this time around.
